Here are my favorite double albums:
1)The Jimi Hendrix Experience: "Electric Ladyland" 2)Pink Floyd: "Ummagumma" 3)The Beatles: "The Beatles" (a/ka/ "the White Album") 4)Pink Floyd: "The Wall" 5)The Smashing Pumpkins: "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness"* 6)Led Zeppelin: "Physical Graffiti" 7)Led Zeppelin: "BBC Sessions" -------------------------------------------------------------------------- *: In May 1997, I read a comment in Music magazine about "MCIS." The person who made the comment said that this album is the "'Physical Graffiti' of the 1990s. |

I do like "Electric Ladyland" by Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles "White Album", but also "Tommy" by The Who, Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow-Brick Road", and Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life".

Jon Foreman's Fall and Winter and the follow up- Spring and Summer.
They all go together and make a quadrilogy.
