Actors that you have seen on TV that are polar opposite or sort of opposite.
For me, it would have to be Joan Van Ark who played Valene Ewing on Dallas and Knots Landing. In the beginning the character Val was a such a sweet and naive woman. Joan Van Ark can come of as brash and ballsy at times. LOL. This is an example of what I am looking for when reviewing comments. anyone else care to bring some opinions to the table? |

Bob Saget is a good one. I've worked with him before. However, one similarity is that he is a neat/clean freak probably more than Danny Tanner. LOL. |

A few years ago the cast of MASH had a reunion, and they spoke very kindly and positively about Larry Linville, who had recently passed away at that time. Apparently he was in real life intelligent, courteous and friendly -- quite the opposite of his Frank Burns character. |

I read once that Raymond Bailey was complety different from Mr. Drysdale. He was quiet, liked to keep to himself a lot and didn't have many friends.

Its been said many times that Bea Arthur (The Golden Girls) was actually shy.
When Lucille Ball was on talk shows, she was quite reserved, not at all comical, like her character, Lucy |

Let's see... Christina Applegate from Married with Children. Kelly was indeed dumb but Christina knew how to turn it on and off.
