Default Hope for the character, at least - fun fanfiction crossover (with Barney Miller)

A big fan of the show encouraged me, since I'd done quite a bit of other fanfiction for other shows and have shown so much that the character is not the performer, that I should do something with Family Affair after the series.

In other words, to Anissa Jones story is tragic, but it need not be so for Buffy.

This is the result. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8908956/...l-Have-Forever It's shorter than maybe it could have been and I'm too young to have even seen it in reruns, but I do hope that you all enjoy it. It attempts to show why the character, at least, would be acting like a younger girl playign with dolls and such even while she is supposed to be in 5th grade in the last season.

I've been told I did the characters relatively well, anyway. Especailly considering the attempted remake in 2002 (which i began a screenplay for and would have tried to sell it had it continued) is my only reference.

I've got another one in mind - but not complete - for the twins to cross over as high school seniors on an exchange program and working with some remedial students from the project - "Welcome Back, Kotter, to be precise!

[Since there's no moderator to delete the one that I requested, I'll bump this up to first.

Seriously, my friend who helped and encouraged me with this said he thought the Sweathogs would be particularly interesting becsue of my love of baseball. Anyone know if Uncle Bill ever took in any games in the Polo Grounds? I'm going to figure he did; it was torn down in '64 when Shea Stadium opened so it's almost certain.

Funny thing is, as I work on it I'm not finding time to stick in the Abbott and Costello type stuff of an English butler named French. But, then again, it's probably been done too many times already. Including by me in the fic I mentioned above, "We'll Have Forever," though not too much.

I wish I could have come up with a better title but you'l like it, anyway.

Just letting you all know the sequel is here just in time http://www.fanfiction.net/s/9109154/1/A-Common-Thread with Buffy and Jody as rich high school seniors in an exchange program with a certain high school in Brooklyn, Buchanan High, where they adn the Sweathogs try to work together on an English project.

Happy reading.
