I just recently started watching the Jeffersons after many years.
Not long after, I noticed something about George's and Lionel's ages from the early episodes.

George was older than the actor potraying him. George mentions serving in Korea, wheras SH would have only been 13-15 while the Korean war was going on.

Lionel was de-aged for the Jeffersons. In an early episode it is mentioned that he is 22. However Lionel looked like he was about 22 when he first started on AITF back in 71.

Yeah I agree because Lionel certainly wasn't a teen on AITF so they definitely pushed his age back once they moved over to the jeffersons
