Default Thelma Evans and Jenny Willis wore the same pink wrap with their dress

In the prom episode, check out Thelma's pink wrap at 10:11

It does look like the same dress/wrap. I don't like the color. It reminds me of Pepto Bismol.

That's what I was thinking too.

Thelma and Jenny would have made great friends too.

Maybe because there wouldn't have been any reason for any of the characters to meet.

I can't think of a reason George and Weezy would have for going to Chicago. And I can't think of a reason the Evans family would have to travel to New York.

I could see George and Weezy going to Chicago more than Florida and James going to NY. George could have made a business trip to Chicago and bumped into the Evans there somehow.

Yeah you have a good point

There was no a chance for a rich black family in NYC to bump into a poor black family in a chicago ghetto

I know this has nothing to do with the show, but the topic reminds me of the afghan blanket that was on the couch of the tv show "Amen". The exact copy of that afhan was also used for the couch on the show "Roseanne". I guess the production company had several of those afghans in storage.

Naw Jeffersons Cleaners wasn't that BIG and was mainly in the local NYC area so there was definitely no reason for them to go to Chicago.
