I knew Blair, Jo, Natalie, and Tootie stole an Eastland van, visited a bar, and got arrested, and the van somehow got damaged , The girls were put on probation and had two choices -- they could either be expelled or they could live together in a spare room next to Mrs . Garrett's bedroom, and work in the cafeteria for Mrs . Garrett to pay for the damage . The episode that depicted this situation was # 14 and 15 ( "The New Girl" ) ,

I remember another episode where Blair, Jo, Natalie, and Tootie had a bottle of alcohol . That episode explained that Eastland had a rule that said any student caught with alcohol in her possession had to be expelled . Mrs . Garrett caught Blair, Jo, Natalie, and Tootie with their bottle of alcohol, and she said she had to tell the headmaster .

The girls tried to talk Mrs . Garrett into handling the matter among themselves . She said "Oh, no ! I could never be tough enough on you girls ! I'll have to tell the headmaster, and then it's up to him !" . Finally the girls DID talk Mrs . Garrett into handling the matter herself, and part of her sentence is a "No Dating" rule .

Blair, Jo, Natalie, and Tootie was already in trouble for stealing the school van, going to a bar, and letting the van get damaged while they had it . They ran out of second chances . If the headmaster knew they had a bottle of alcohol, they would probably have been expelled .
