Opening Credits (later seasons)

In the later season opening credits, my favorite character montages before each cast member's credits are Mrs. Garrett's before Charlotte Rae, and Natalie's before Mindy Cohn, because the "evolution" of them are the ones most evenly spread out. Poor Kim Fields, it first shows Tootie in season 1 and then skips all the way to season 6! I think they should at least show one photo of her from the Eastland cafeteria years, and the same for Nancy---something between her first appearance and then the big jump to season 5.

By the way, two questions on the opening credits:

1) In season 4 (and I think 3), right before Nancy's credit it shows Jo standing up annoyed from behind the counter in front of the cafeteria/kitchen door, with Mrs. Garrett standing there with the hands on the counter looking at her. While watching the series I realized that the episode this is from is "The Americanization of Miko" (unless they happened to wear the same costumes at the same time in another episode, but it sure seems like it would have to be this episode). Anyway, that part is cut out of the episode, even on DVD! Does anyone remember or know what exactly happens at that moment that was apparently edited out of the episode?

2) In the later seasons, which episode is it where Jo holds up the sign that says "The Merry Wives of Windsor"? Somehow I've missed that while going through the episodes...

Haha I never noticed that about the credit scene that was cut out. Unless it is from a different episode...hmmm
