What is your favorite spinoff or show that lasted only one or two or three years?

Futurama is not a spin-off of The Simpsons. They were just created by the same person.

um "Facts of Life" lasted 9 seasons.
"Laverne and Shirley" had 8.
"Good Times" had 5.
"Jeffersons" had 10.
"Maude" had 6.
"Mama's Family" had 6.

Actually, The Jeffersons had 11 and Good Times had six. Half seasons are usually counted as a whole season, in terms of ratings and episode guides.

Day by Day is not a spinoff of Family Ties, but there is more then one connection between the shows. We learned that Steven Keaton was a college buddy of Brian Harper in the second season of Day by Day and Gary David Goldberg created both series. You can't really consider it a spinoff beacuse the Harpers never appeared in Family Ties.
