They were rich????? Saw the episode this morning when they thought their lease would not be renewed and worried where they would go

Didn't George make enough money for him and Weezy to live in a hotel until they found a new place?

The only person who would have affected is Florence since she wouldn't be living with them in a hotel

George could have afforded a suite at the Waldorf Astoria, and then Florence would have a separate room in the suite.

You would have to ask your mom or somebody to put you up for a while. George didn't have to worry about that, but he acted like he was the same, old broke dude from Harlem. I guess he did forget he was loaded.
