In 1967 a mysterious 27-year old television commercial actress was cast to show her beautiful sexy long leg in one of the most iconic film posters of all time. Linda Gray, of “Dallas” fame, revealed today that she was the uncredited ”body actress” whose leg adorned the poster for the acclaimed Dustin Hoffman movie “The Graduate.” Most people thought it was the leg of female co-star Anne Bancroft in the poster (the infamous Mrs. Robinson of the film). Gray was an unknown actress at the time. She had made a considerable amount of money from filming more than 400 television commercials, but toiled in anonymity until she was hired to play Sue Ellen Ewing for eleven seasons of the hit “Dallas.”
