Because beneath her wisecracking extroverted personna, she was scared of intimacy with a man. She was no Vanessa Williams, but she was good-looking enough. IMO it was her fear. Beneath this too was lack of confidence ; also concealed by her brashness.

Wasn't there an episode where she had a boyfriend that spent the night in her bedroom? And in the first or second season wasn't she upset because she broke up with her boyfriend and she was thinking about killing herself?

But who's to say that she didn't have sex. Seasons 1&2 Florence were more wilder than the later season Florence. That is one of the reasons why I like Flo in the earlier seasons, she wasn't afraid the curse or get wasted LOL.

Yeah she met Leon but it didn't put any moves on her which is why she liked him
