It’s Official: Kris Jenner Talk Show From Twentieth TV To Get Summer Run On Fox Stations

Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner is officially adding a daytime talk show host to her resume.

After lengthy negotiations, Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television announced today that "Kris", a new daily one-hour talk show starring Kris Jenner, will get a test run on select Fox-owned stations in markets, including New York and Los Angeles.

The program, produced by Twentieth Television, is a pop culture driven talk show filmed in Los Angeles. It will feature celebrity guests, fashion & beauty trends; plus a mix of lifestyle topics.

“This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!,” said Jenner who will serve as executive producer.

“Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted – all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host,” said Stephen Brown, EVP of Development & Programming, Twentieth TV.

Added Frank Cicha, SVP of Programming, Fox Television Stations, “Wouldn’t be summer without at least one test, would it? In all seriousness, we go into this believing that if it works, the Kris Jenner program could really compliment what we’ve got going with Wendy, Bethenny, etc.”

The six-week test run on the Fox stations has become increasingly popular as it has spawned two series to go to national syndication: "Wendy Williams" and "Bethenny".

The "Kris" announcement follows Twentieth TV’s renewal earlier today of freshman syndie strip "Dish Nation". The company’s freshman talk show "Ricki Lake" is unlikely to continue next season.

The highest-profile new syndicate talker on tap for next fall is Sony TV’s "The Queen Latifah Show", which has been cleared in more than 90% of the country.

I guess FOX doesn't have any interest in being a legitimate news source. I thought there was some hope when they dumped Sarah, but now this nut?

This has nothing to do with FOX news, only FOX owned regular broadcast stations.

July will be a big month for the Kardashian family.

Kris Jenner's talk show "Kris" is set to debut on select local Fox affiliates on Monday, July 15, the network announced Thursday. July is also the month Jenner's daughter Kim Kardashian is due to give birth to her and Kanye West's baby.

Kris will feature celebrity guests, fashion and beauty tips and other lifestyle topics. In addition to hosting the daily one-hour show, Jenner will also serve as executive producer alongside Robert Lifton (The Best Damn Sports Show Period).

"I am beyond excited to begin this new chapter," Jenner said in a statement.

Added Lifton: "Kris has an incredible ability to connect with television viewers, demonstrates a wide range of interests and can successfully embrace light fare and conversation. She has a fantastic chance to be a true breakout personality in the daytime television space."

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Kris Jenner intends to make a big splash with her new daytime talk show Kris, debuting Monday, July 15, on several Fox-owned stations around the country — but she won't be going it along.

Jenner has selected "Good Morning America" correspondent and former "All My Children" star Cameron Mathison as her very first cohost.

A rep for the chatathon, which is being test-marketed for a possible nationwide run in 2014, tells TV Guide Magazine that Jenner and Mathison will be seen in an array of how-to segments involving cooking, belly dancing and self defense.

Jenner will also share exclusive deets on her new granddaughter, North West. Will the baby make her first public appearance on Grandma's new show? Mum's the word on that but Day One is definitely a family affair — Jenner's daughters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian-Odom, will be on hand, as will her husband, Bruce Jenner and son Brandon.

Guests for the premiere hour include the Italian pop-opera group Il Volo. Expect lots of video messages from Jenner's BFFs, including Regis Philbin, Robin Roberts and Simon Cowell.

Other cohosts lined up for the six-week trial run include Ryan Seacrest, Joan Rivers, TMZ's Harvey Levin, Kathie Lee Gifford and Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Filmed in Los Angeles, Kris will premiere on select Fox stations including:
