No one cared about HILLMAN after Denise
The episode is on where Denise makes her college decision. The entire family is pressuring her to go to Hillman. I assume this was to set up the spin-off but after she came back two seasons later, no one seemed to care if the kids chose Hillman.

You're right!! I don't remember anyone pressuring Theo or Vanessa to go to Hillman. Theo went to NYU and Vanessa went to Lincoln, I think?

Well, I guess that since Denise dropped out, the rest of the family became more wary of the "Hillman sales pitch", wanting to avoid another Huxtable child from repeating the same fate.
