Lee Curreri recently re-recorded four songs that he sang and played on the show ("Can We Be Magic Like You", "Alone in the Crowd", "Murphy Blues" and "False Alarm") and they are up for sale on iTunes. It's $3.96 for all of them together.
For those who said he couldn't sing back in the days of the TV show, his voice has matured and enriched. He doesn't have much vocal range, but he knows how to stay within its boundaries and not overreach his vocal abilities. I think Fame fans would be interested, and it's cheap enough to take a chance on. P.S. Sorry, the Shorofsky song is nowhere to be found.

One of my favorite things about the TV series Fame was the relationship between Bruno and Mr. Shirovsky. Nice to see That Lee Curreri is keeping active and is keeping the Fame music out there!

In the DVD commentary of the original movie, Lee Curreri said he was very close to Albert Hague (Mr. Shorofsky) and looked up to him as a musical mentor. Further blurring the lines between reel and real life, Lee's wife, Sherry, is the sister of Laura Dean (who played Lisa in the movie). They have two young sons.
