At least in my opinion. i always wondered what exactly was the triangular stone pendant skipper/alan.wore around his neck during GI and other performances. I know in Castaways he wore a silver medallion and not the pendant.

Perhaps he was given that Necklace by his Mother, Silent film Actress, Gretchen Hartman, whom he was very close too BTW. She passed away in 1979 but I was told they were very close

Hmmmmm. Never knew how close he was to his mother. Maybe something that belonged to her is what he's wearing in Castaways since it came out around the time of her death. Tried asking one of his relatives but the person didn't want to answer the questions.
