Default Statement by Florida I didn't pay attention to 20 years ago but today it makes sense

In the episode Michael Gets Suspended she said

"While the entire country is watching the price of gas, the supermarkets are sneaking food prices up again"

I was in the Market last night and only bought 6 items and the total was $30

LOL

Florida you are sooooooooooo right

Severe drought this past year... I've been stocking up when I've come across good deals, because I'm afraid to say prices only get worse from here...!

Your post reminds me of the later Mary Tyler Moore Show opening, with Mary tossing the meat package in her cart (obviously bugged by the price).

Is that a last season opening?

Me and my father were at the supermarket getting stuff for a get together. Two porterhouse steaks were $34.00.

I think next time I might get the rib-eye steaks. They're a lot cheaper than $34.00 porterhouse.

I wonder if Florida ever bought stew meat. I despise stew meat. Anyway, she is definitely right about everyone watching the gas prices go up while the supermarkets sneak their higher prices.

I hate when they complain about not giving you the discount if you forgot your shopper's card.

That is so ********. The stuff you want to buy might be on sale for less than ten dollars. So you have to miss out on the sale or buy something extra to get the price over ten? That is so not fair.
