Batman used to say things that were so funny and ridiculous, but they were true. Once he and Robin were crossing a street and he took the time to say something like. "And be sure to look both ways kids before you cross the street please" lol But I have to say it was a very good message to kids, who the writers knew was watching.

I've said Adam West's Batman was likely to say "Hold, Robin ! Before we go out to fight the forces of evil, we must brush our teeth !" . A woman I knew said "They might have to smile for the cameras !", and I said "Knowing that version of Batman, he'd be more concerned with good dental hygiene !" .
