Is It better to sample this show from the first episode? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I tried to sample last night but it didn't work out too well because I don't have any knowledge of the characters and usually the 1st episdoe sets the tone for how each character will be the rest of the series.

I would say yes. Having recently rewatched the first two seasons and being in the process of rewatching season three I would say it would definitely be good to start from the beginning.

Don't pay to much attention to Barney's family because you won't see most of them again

That's what I will try to do then. Not sure if the sunday eps are in the same cycle as the ones on Thursday

You haven't seen this show EITHER?!? What 70's shows had you seen prior to the year 2000? Just the Jeffersons and Three's Company?

Prior to 2000, the 70's shows I seen were shown locally in Philly

It was on TV Land when I didn't have it, I didn't get it until 2000.

And if it was on TV Land after 2000 it was never on in primetime so I could sample it
