Default 2012...Year in review

2012 is about to end and I have one word...GOOD!

This year was unfair to me. I got into 2 car accidents, my computer crapped-out on me, I got mad at someone which almost made me lose my job, my Summer wasn't memorable, and i'm without someone to ring-in 2013.

So i'll have to say the Cleveland motto..."There's always next year"!

How did your 2012 go?

Meh, not the best, not the worst.

Came back from Antarctica in March but really haven't done much since then. I am really sick of my current job so hopefuly I get a better one in 2013. Nothing really bad happened to me this year, but 2011 was easily a much better year for me.

In a perfect world it would be nice to get a better job where I meet the perfect girl and move out of my parents house. Until I accomplish any of those three it will just be another meh year for me.

I finally got a niece, but only ten hours later, our father passed away. So yeah, 2012 has been one heck of a year for our family.

Been an Interesting Year, Some Ups and Downs. It was mostly a Good Year for the most part. Some Happy and sad times.

My Aunt Got Colon Cancer back in March and she continues to fight it Daily. It has spread trough out her body. She has had surgery and countless rounds of Chemo. Of course she has Good and Bad days. She was told by Doctors back in November that she has a least two Years and that now it a matter of trying to prolong her life then trying tom cure it. But I pray everyday and remain Hopeful and Optimistic that she will live for many... many more Years! It been interesting(Best word I can think of at the moment) watching her go through this Journey.

On the Bight Side My Brother got married back in August to a Very Nice lady.

I work at Hickory Farms for the past Month which i had a f time doing.

Gilligan Fanatic, I'm impressed.

My blah years don't include anything as interesting as Antarctica.
March is the start of their winter. I hear it's cold.
If it's not too personal, what were you doing at the South Pole?

And in 2013, good luck on the job, the place to stay and the girl.

It was the best of times? It was the worst of times.

One of my nieces, who waited till she was 38 to have kids, had twins. 1 boy and 1 girl, but she lost her husband to a brain tumor 2 months before they were born. She was so saddened for that time before the kids were born, but now that they are here, they are helping her deal with it better.

I lost a job I was working for 4 years, but that is not really a bad thing considering I couldn't stand the owner.

I found a better paying job, 1 month later and have been driving all over the country since then. This is a good thing, except during the cold snowy winter, which is now.

I wrote a book, which is finally finished after 8 years and it will be released in May 2013.

I guess all in all, it was a good year for me. But I am hoping 2013 holds more for me. I believe this is my year to get what I have been wanting for many years. And that's to own my own house.

I'm trying to complete a book as well, but somehow, I haven't gotten around to work on it since before Christmas. But I still have a week left of my Christmas vacation, so I hope I'll find some time to do something about it.

Not the best year for me. Some setbacks, but despite that I am blessed and thankful to see another year.

Thanks!

I actually wasn't at the South Pole, I was at McMurdo Station which is about 6 hours from the pole.

I worked in the supply department. Here is a thread I have from earlier in the year that answers some questions and has a few pictures. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...d.php?t=291644

With the exception of Hurricane Sandy and my grandmother dying on December 1st, I had a pretty good year otherwise.

Thanks for the link to the thread with your Antarctica pictures. It must have been a fantastic once in a lifetime experience. By the way, nice addition of the Terrible Towel in your room. Go Steelers (well, in 2013)!
