Default When JJ wanted to marry pregnant Henrietta

Was JJ old enough to marry a pregnant "minor" Henrietta?

JJ did not have a job

JJ did not have a car

JJ was not the father

JJ was not doing well in high school

JJ is living at home in a 2 bedroom/projects with his parents, sister and brother

JJ parent's met Henrietta for the first time

Henrietta did not want to Marry JJ

Henrietta was a pregnant minor who did not get along with her alcoholic mother

So the question is: What was the purpose of JJ trying to marry Henrietta when he could NOT anyway based on the above facts?

How was it the right thing to do based on his current situation?

He didn't want a kid to grow up without a father besides that is how the writers wanted the story to be told just enjoy it as entertainment.

I love to laugh and have never thought of these things that yourself and others have brought up. When I originally seen them as a kid I laughed at JJ all the time even when serious they managed to get some comic relief in there.

Yes, me too, that is the purpose of the message boards topic converations, not to talk about what the show was about, its all about bringing out ackward, wierd, unbalanced and goofs scenes on the show.

I found it disturbing that Florida was alarmed that JJ was suddenly becoming serious with his life. She said something luike, "Since when is JJ so adamant about getting a job?" the boy was 18 now and a legal adult. 18 years old would be the perfect time to be adamant about getting a job. Plus, he already had job(s) when he was a younger teenager).

Yeah like she was content with him being a 18 year fool who didn't take life seriously

She probably wanted him to keep on getting left back in high school so he would be 25 years old before he graduated.

It was weird that there was a episode about him going to the 12th grade but never another episode about him graduating
