I think they look and sound alike although I wouldn't say they are twins..

I can see similarities but I wouldn't see twins either. I could see Marlo guesting on TC as Janet's cousin, maybe.

I remeber once reading an interview that Joyce did. (I don't have the link) That she has been told that she looks like Marlo Thomas.

Both ladies have Italian ancestry, but Marlo is also half-Lebanese (her father was Lebanese-American actor Danny Thomas).

I knew Joyce has Italian blood in her but I didn't know Marlo did. After taking a second look, Marlo wins.
