The Christmas episode...."George Finds a Father" is so confusing

Uncle Buddy calling george "georgie" and he was a grown a$$ man

George allowing himself to be smacked by Buddy in his own home

No mention of where Jenny or Lionel was.....LOL



I have to say this was one of my most disappointing george jefferson moments

Buddy smacked George because George was implying that his mama was a hussy or something. I just remember George was disrespecting his mother and that infuriated Buddy enough to smack George. Seeing as how Buddy was an old man, I would have been a lot more dissapointed in George if he hit Buddy back. But I don't think Buddy should have smacked George. Buddy was a guest in George's home and he should have shown more respect.
