Question Bill Cosby's Pin?

I've been watching The Cosby Show on Centric this afternoon/evening, and at least twice in season 7 (in "Same Time Next Year" and then in "It's All in the Game") I see Cliff wearing a pin on his lapel that is brown with white letters. It looks like letters at least that say maybe "SL" or "SD" Does anyone know the significance of this pin? Just wondering since I spotted it in more than one episode and in more than once scene.

It was a tribute to the singer/entertainer Sammy davis Jr. who died in 1990 when this season aired and Bill Cosby decided to remember him buy wearing the buttons

I see. No. The episodes I mentioned above where I noticed the pin were the episode where Rudy is going into junior high/middle school and feels like she's not as "developed" as her fellow sixth-grade peers, and the episode with the leaves when Cliff and Claire come back from vacation to the loud house and kids who make them want to go back!!

I like this statement by Cliff

"I'm just that I;m old clair and my point is a woman can have babies longer than a man can play football"
