I was looking around for the GREEN genie outfit, I thought sure it would be available, and not ONE PLACE is selling it that I've found!
I cannot believe this! I why in the world wouldn't they have Jeannie II's costume available?!? I bought 2 pink outfits and am TRYING to color 1 green, but someday I hope to make one authentic. |

The only way to get one to be fairly authentic would be to either make it yourself or find a seamstress willing to do it for you. There is more of a difference in their outfits than the color. Look closely at the bottom of Jeannie II's outfit -- it's really a many-gored flared skirt, rather than a pair of pink lined harem pants.
I would imagine that no one has marketed it because there wouldn't be much demand. Jeannie II (evil Jeannie, as she is known on the script) was only in a few episodes. Donna |

Yes I know there were some differences, the green outfit is fancier too, BUT I just want to do a fast "cheap" version first, then maybe later on go for the authentic one, the pink outfit I have is not THAT autentic either really, I mean to a non-fan it looks good but to us hard core fans we see the differences. But as I was watching the show, I was really observing Jeannie II's outfit, and on the green outfit, it DOES seem to be PANTS and not a skirt. The pants just seem VERY VERY lose and free flowing, but they do in fact look like pants/leggings, there is one scene in particualr that shows that really well. I THINK it's from the episode where Jeannie is trapped in the safe and she's trying to kidnap Tony. But my cousin and I were wanting to dress as blonde and brunette Jeannie once. |

....was originally Jeannie's; an early version of it was worn by her in first season episodes "My Hero?" and "Jeannie and the Marriage Caper". Then, it became her "traveling outfit" during season two (for those occasions when she thought she was going home- see "Always on Sunday" and "My Poor Master, the Civilian"). For Jeannie's rotten sister, it became her outfit in season three.
The bottom half of the costume is a skirt, in light and dark green strips.
