Bring Back The Screwball!

[Screwball]

A screwball comedy usually involves rapid-fire comedy with overlapping dialogue, juxtaposition of sophistication with slapstick and silliness, and eccentric supporting characters played by well-known character actors.

I think that Newsradio fits the definition.

Unfortunately, there are few modern screwballs. Veep is another possible modern screwball.

I'm wondering if Newsradio fans would be willing to give me and my team some feedback on a new web series we are producing, called "Tymania" (warning: 18+ audience). We are borrowing from these great modern screwballs, trying to make something that will appeal to audiences who love shows like Newsradio and Veep.
