There is a Mary Ann Costume at Amazon. It doesn't include shoes, but the model used is shown wearing sneakers. I can only remember one episode where Mary Ann wore sneakers. That was the episode where she made up the fake boyfriend. It seems strange now that Mary Ann didn't wear sneakers regularly...

I think I saw the costume you referred to, Sneakers . It featured a black hair wig, a tie -- up shirt with red and white checks, and a pair of blue Capri pants . The episode you mentioned was # 54, "The Postman Cometh" . There's a video on YouTube with a montage of scenes featuring Mary Ann wearing shirts or halter tops and shorts . These scenes are arranged to "Short Shorts" by the Royal Teens . The person who posted that video put "Along with Ginger ( Tina Louise ), Mary Ann was one of the sexiest babes on television in the 1960's . " in his commentary . My idea of a perfect outfit for a female castaway is a T -- shirt, cutoff blue jeans, and a pair of sandals . A castaway doesn't necessarily get to decide what she wears when she gets stranded ( Eva Grubb was an obvious exception ), but I get to have my idea .
