Default Need help with a Weezy/ Mother Jefferson Scene

The crowd laugh when Mother Jefferson said "I'm a Queen Mother" and Louise responded...."I don't know about the queen part but you are quite a mother

Sounds like a reference to the Queen of England who is often called the Queen Mother.

Well it could also be a snide way of saying Mother Jefferson is a...how do I put this on a message board? Mother ****** lol think of a word for fornication. We all know Weezy and Mother Jefferson did not see eye to eye.

I don't think they would try to get that past the censors in 1975. I think the mother part was a reference to her being George's mother. "Quite a mother" being made sarcastically.

That's what I always thought too. It seemed like Louise wanted to say mother f***er

I think that's what it may have meant because you can hear the guy in the background going crazy from laughter

In street terms, mother means "bitch". Today we'd just say "be-yotch".
