I don't suppose anybody saved this.
Teachers Only From 1982-83, it ran for 22 episodes on NBC produced by Carson Productions. Created by Aaron Ruben. From IMDB In its first incarnation (April to June 1982), the setting was Millard Fillmore High School in Los Angeles. Diana Swanson is an English teacher, Ben Cooper is the school principal, Michael Dreyfuss and Gwen Edwards are fellow teachers, Mr. Brody is the assistant principal and Mr. Pafko is the janitor. Most of the scenes were in the faculty lunchroom and lounge from which students were excluded. When the show returned in February to May 1983, the school was now Woodrow Wilson High School in Los Angeles with Diana still an English teacher but with a new cast. Samantha Keating and Michael Horne are teachers, Spud Le Boone is the gym teacher and Shari is the principal's secretary. Thanks |

I remember coming across its imdb page awhile back and it sounded pretty interesting. I was only a few years old when it was on so of course i don't have any episodes or have even seen the show. I do remember the cast being pretty impressive: Jean Smart, Teresa Ganzel, among others. It also had Tim Reid and Normal Fell after their roles as Venus Flytrap and Mr. Roper ended. I would be pretty interested in trading for it as well.

Someone might have it.
1982 was 7 years after introduction of home video recording. Wiseguy182, if I get any hits, I'll clue you in. And Aaron Ruben is no comedy slouch either. Below from Wikipedia: After service in the military he worked for studios and wrote for radio programs including Dinah Shore's program, George Burns and Gracie Allen's show and Fred Allen's show. He also co-wrote Milton Berle's 1947-48 radio series with Nat Hiken. Ruben started his TV producing and directing career in 1954 when he directed the TV series Caesar's Hour (1954). He then directed eleven episodes of The Phil Silvers Show between 1957 and 1959 along with Silvers' CBS TV special, Keep in Step (1959). He later produced The Andy Griffith Show (1960), working on that series for 5 seasons as producer, writer and story consultant. He went on to create the Andy Griffith spin-off Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. (1964), which turned out to be his only TV creation. Other credits include, The Headmaster (1970), Sanford and Son (1972), C.P.O. Sharkey (1976) and Teachers Only (1982) |

I don't think Howard Hesseman (of WKRP Fame) was in it.
The cast was Lynn Redgrave ... Diana Swanson (21 episodes, 1982-1983) Norman Fell ... Ben Cooper (21 episodes, 1982-1983) Joel Brooks ... Spud Le Boone (13 episodes, 1983) Teresa Ganzel ... Samantha 'Sam' Keating (13 episodes, 1983) Tim Reid ... Michael Horne (13 episodes, 1983) Jean Smart ... Shari (13 episodes, 1983) Adam Arkin ... Michael Dreyfuss (8 episodes, 1982) Norman Bartold ... Mr. Brody (8 episodes, 1982) Van Nessa Clarke ... Gwen Edwards (8 episodes, 1982) Richard Karron ... Mr. Pafko (8 episodes, 1982) Kit McDonough ... Lois McCardle (8 episodes, 1982) |
