question about final version of theme song - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I just heard the mp3's of both the final theme, and the final ending theme. They are diferent than the wav ones. The mp3 is shorter for the opening theme, and the mp3 for the ending is a little different from the wav theme.....were there 2 versions of the opening and closing final themes used during the finl seaosn

I was listening to it Sunday and was expecting "everybody's got a special kind of story...." and it just cut short straight to the end. I think that is the verision played on TV at times on some eps. Some shows like commercials shorten the theme song for some strange reason.

The MP3 file I have has the opening theme has the updated ending from the first 7 seasons with the words. The ending theme is totally instrumental and is missing the electric drums at certain parts. Note the opening MP3 for 85-86 has the beat of the real ending used during the run it just jas words
