Is there a friggin commercial before every video? and why does the commercial play fine but the video seems out of sync?

I hate it when they have to run an ad before a video that's only 10 seconds long.

Ads don't play before every video. They play on the YouTube Partners' videos (people who get paid for posting videos).

Also, you can expect to see commercials play on the videos uploaded by big companies like Sony, NBC, HBO...

Its been doing that on my computer too. Also, not all videos, but the majority of them are stalling right in the middle while playing: this video is currently unavailable.

It's most likely to keep the site free. I don't mind the ads so much although they can be annoying. I figured it would happen sooner or later, though.
