Default Sexy Tina Louise story in HOW I ESCAPED GILLIGAN'S ISLAND

Have you heard this story?

On page 218 of his book, producer William Froug describes being summoned to the set to deal with an emergency.

"It's Tina Louise. She's locked herself in her dressing room."

They had to shoot her around her but eventually there was nothing left to shoot and were about to shut down the set.

Froug knocks on her dressing room door.

"Tina, please! Report for work."

"I can't. I'm too tired."

"Don't make me call your agent. Report to the set."

"I wish I could. But I'm just exhausted. I came 23 times last night. That much sex just wears me out.'

She played a sexy movie star.
Now that's what I call a method actress.

I don't know. I've read so many different things about Tina that I can't figure her out. I think she was a lot of shock talk. I read where she would brag about her sex life while in the makeup chair with Dawn Wells and Natalie Schaffer. Also there is the Bob Denver story Tina was having sex in her dressing room. She denies it. I believe her . I think she was making noise to piss him off or it was more of a shock value. Must have been hard growing up in a boarding school and hardly seeing your family. Maybe shocking people was her was her way of dealing with it all.

Well, Tina Louise married Les Crane in 1966.
In the run of show, she was a newlywed.

Women supposedly reach their sexual peak around 32-34.
In the run of the show, Tina was 30 to 33.

Or it could be Tina just having a different kind of fun.

On page 122 of his fun behind-the-scenes guide HERE ON GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, Russell Johnson says Tina loved to shock Natalie Schafer in the morning when they were having their hair done.

"Tina would start in on some outrageous story about her steamy escapades from the night before just to irritate and tease Natalie, who became annoyed as hell. Natalie would would protest: 'Oh, please, Tina!'"

Loool!! Smilings, you've done your research

I tend to agree with edplattfan that Tina probably said a lot of these things for shock effect, ie: pissing off Bob and annoying Natalie which, you have to admit, would have been hilarious to watch.

Obviously she would have had a healthy sex life but a lot of it was just being an exhibitionist and loving every minute of it.
