Its been reported in some of the Washington DC media that The Lucy Show ( and Cheers ) will be airing on WUSA-TV channel 9 out of Washington DC at 10am with Cheers coming on at 10:30 with The Price is Right at 11. For Lucy fans its good news, if you live near Washington DC.

Reason for this ( rare nowadays for a network station to show a classic like Lucy Show ), well I read 2. !. to give viewers a break from the news events of 9/11. And second I read that WUSA is tired of the of low quality in talk shows out now like Povich, Springer, Sally, ect..( Iyana was the one got cancelled out of the 10am time slot).

Be nice if more local stations see the light and start airing more classic sitcoms and less talk/court shows.

Yes it would be nice if more network affliates stop airing so
many court and talk shows and started rerunning some of
the classic shows,and not just sitcoms either.
Our local CBS affliate stop airing one of those Oprah clone
talk shows and put infomercial on the first half hour and
then the new Family Feud on the second half hour before
putting on The Price Is Right.
