That's right! The RMS Titanic 2. The Australian Billionaire Clive Palmer is building the RMS Titanic 2 (Tribute Ship) and construction will start at the end of 2013 and should be complete by 2016. His intention is to make it as close in appearance as the 1912 RMS Titanic. But with modern technology Me and my sister are already saving up for a cruise on the RMS Titanic 2 and are so looking forward to it. Our plan is to hopefully take the cruise on April 15th 2017. The 105th anniversary of the original Titanic's sinking. If we can get Tickets for that date.

I hope you get the chance. The Titanic was a beautiful ship. Bring some duct tape with you.

How much is the trip? I read the 3rd class boarders would have had to save up their entire lives to pay for the 1st class price back in 1912.

I was told an estimated 10 to 15 thousand for the April 15th cruise. I actually have the money already but I am gonna save anyway for it. You know, something to shoot for?

I took the queen Elizabeth II across the Atlantic in 1997 and it cost about 2 1/2 thousand dollars. This trip must have bells and whistles. Then again it depends on what level of the ship you stay on. We had a small room with a small porthole and it was adequate.

Coffeecup you are so lucky. I would have loved to take a trip on the QE2 but never had the thought. Now she has been retired and I will never get the chance again.

This was the only cruise I have taken. It was sad though. My mom and dad were going to celebrate their 50 th wedding anniversary. My mom made the arrangements in early fall of 1996. My dad, mom, brother and I. We are close. To make the long story short, my dad became ill in Jan and we hope he could make the trip. As time went on he became became worse. We all thought he improve as time went on. By April or so the trip was scheduled for May, my dad said it will be too much for me, you three go. My mom a nurse felt he be ok if we went. She had money for the trip all paid up. To make the long story short, my dad died while we were aboard the ship. My other brother called the ship to say my dad had died. Here you are miles from the states, only the ships phone for communication. We were to explore England for a week too. We had to fly back to the states. So when I think of cruises I think of that sad time.
