So now that Lisa is shining on 'Survivor' and certainly going through an incredible year, it's time to get creative and think of songs or song titles that you would use to dedicate to her!! (Preferably nice, complimentary ones in good taste....
) But we also could use fun ones as a joke and have a good laugh!!Let's see......Here are a couple for starters: "Soul Survivor" --by Asia. "Touch Me, I'm Sick" --by Mudhoney (in regards to her contracting the West Nile virus). "Welcome To the Jungle" --by Guns 'N' Roses. "Island Girl" --by Elton John (one of her favorite artists). Any other suggestions or ideas?

It's like everything about Lisa and what's going on with her has some sort of personal resonance with everybody!! This is incredible!!! It's like word association in the titles shouldn't matter--you've given me tons of more ideas for songs!!!

How about "Survivor" by Destiny's Child?
"I Will Survive" by Cheap Trick (used in the 1992 "Gladiator" movie) And you gotta have the "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor |

"Papyrus Containing The Spell To Preserve Its Possessor Against Attacks From He Who Is In The Water" --by Nile.
See? A death metal band who shares its name with the medical condition which Lisa is dealing with, and the rather lengthy title ties in with the immunity idol. Great how these ideas keep coming along!!! Nile is a band which writes lyrical themes about ancient Egyptology.

Little Fighter --by White Lion.
Girl Money --by Kix. Sister Christian --by Night Ranger (In spite of some of the lyrics in the chorus, I was struck by the relevance of "What's your price for flight/in finding Mr. Right?" --"It'll be all right tonight.") |

And here's a good one:
Considering how she kept a very low profile on the first half of the season, on an island filled with such exotic flora and fauna, I'm thinking it's only fitting we select: "Everybody's Got Something To Hide (Except For Me And My Monkey) --by The Beatles |
