TV I noticed something on SaS

I was watching all the episodes of SaS and I noticed that I never saw either Fred or Lamont with a clothes basket of clean or dirty clothes nor was there ever a reference to washing clothes or if they had a washer and dryer which if they did they were probably in the basement.

I doubt they had one, I would think they'd have to go to a laundromat or something.

I thought I was the ONLY one who noticed that. Wow. That question has been keeping me awake at night for the past 30 years.

Never thought about it before, but you're right. I've never seen or heard any reference to laundry on the show. I doubt they went to a laundromat tho . . . maybe Fred used the washboard Redd used to play as a teen!

Even when they had the white maid I don't remember a laundry reference

Fred at times made reference that he didn't wash his draws regulary. I am sure they did laundry, even though it wasn't referenced. Lamont was perceived to be the cleaner one, so thie clothes were washed.

I remember they mentioned something about hanging wet clothes all over the bathroom, and a wash basin in the bathroom, though I guess a washbasin in a sink, but maybe they had a washing machine in the bathroom, I remember we used to.

OR maybe there was a laundry room upstairs, sometimes I get the feeling they had a huge upstairs, in the earthquake episode when Fred was trying to sell the house he shows a couple the upstair and you can hear him opening and closing like 6 or 7 doors calling rooms out, and I DID understand him to say "sunroom", I couldn't hear the rest b/c of the audience laughing.

And Julio has a HUGE upstairs when they were renting rooms out.
