I loved the 2 episodes with the Widder Fenwick and her daughter Cynthia. The scene with Mrs. Drysdale and the Widder Fenwick fighting on the floor is hilarious. Very funny episodes. They are from season 2.

I liked how Cynthia was attracted (physically) to Jethro. Aside from Miss Jane, he had relatively few admirers in the run of the series!

The series was really hitting its stride. Cynthia believed that Elly was on the cutting edge of fashion with her jeans (rope belt, naturally), hairstyle, and lunch-tote bucket.
The misunderstanding of the gardener's shack was a clever way to have the Clampetts both see and not see the Fenwick estate, thinking that the house wasn't owned by the Fenwicks. Some of these early themes continued for years, with Elly for the longest time generally resisting the wearing of Beverly Hills women's fashions (although she does abandon her old hat, fairly early on), and the Clampetts continuing to misinterpret situations they come across. |

it's not a name, it's the word "widow" said with a "backwoods" accent like the Clampetts wuld say it.
