Question Christmas Cards

Do you send them, not send them; receive many cards or a few? I used to send about 75 of them. No kidding. My husband has a huge family. I don't bother with all that anymore. I've sent about 20 the last few years. This year, not sure. I haven't decided if I'm up to it.

^ It does take awhile to sign & address all those cards. I'd love to be able to just email everyone a holiday card but over half the people I send them too do not have computers. Mainly the older relatives. So I've got a pick an afternoon to get it done.

With all you've been through the last few months surely your friends & relatives will understand if you don't send any out.

I send out Christmas cards. I have mailed all of mine except one that will go in the mail tomorrow. I get some cards and I like them.

That's so nice how you sent out so many cards. It's a shame more people haven't appreciated all that you have done over the years. Don't feel you have to send out cards. I know it's been hard the last couple months hang in there my friends.

I only send out a few - and generally send most others an e-card.

I really have to get started on this. Usually I have my cards sent by now. I am seriously considering cutting back as stamps are so expensive. I usually send around 25 but this year I will pare it down a bit My husband wants me to just stop sending cards but I am not ready to go that far yet!.

With the wedding next year my fiance and I did Christmas cards this year as almost a practice run for addressing all the save the dates that need to go out in February. It also gave us a chance to get more addresses for people on our guest list. Our cards went into the mail Monday.

I used to send over 50 cards, now I think I send about 20. Most of it was people not sending cards back. When I give them a couple years to send me a card, and they don't, I stop sending them, unless it's family. I'm the same as Penny Lane, I usually have all my cards sent, but I've been sick the past week and haven't felt like doing anything, even decorating.

No, don't get them and don't send them. I'm still young enough where I really don't know a heck of a lot of people who live on there own though. I'll send some online greetings

Sent mine off Tuesday, had to go buy extra stamps. Wish the post office would give you a free stamp for every 20 you buy. lol! Anyway I sent off 34 this year & hand delivered 12 more.

I don't send them anymore because of the change at the Post Office. They removed the stamp machine which means I have to stand in a long line for 1 stamp lol

Not going to do it.

I don't send out many at all. I have 3 aunts over age 90 and I do send a card to them. But I like to write a little something in the card and with most of my so called surface friends, I just can't think of what to say. So the card just says the Merry Xmas and Happy New Year and I tend to think that is a waste of 45cents.

You can get stamps at Wal Mart, Grocery Stores etc...

I like to write out my Christmas Cards while listening to Christmas music or watching a Christmas program. For a few minutes it reminds me of what the relative/friend means to me.
