Wow! That's scary! We had a couple of small tremors here in Michigan in years past. But the epicenter was somewhere else. I can't remember where probably in Ohio or Missouri. But we felt it here. I have a friend in North Pole Alaska. Wonder if they felt it there? I'll have to get on Facebook to ask her. Glad that you're safe Snowcreature!(Sorry I don't remember your name!)

There was a small earthquake in Maine recently. I think it was Maine. I was home, in Massachusetts, sitting in a recliner and I got the strangest feeling. My cat was next to me on the sofa. We both looked at each other like, wth? The glasses rattled a bit in our kitchen cabinet. I thought that perhaps some work was being done by the city outside, in the streets or something.
Sure enough, I saw it on the Fox crawl a few hours later that the East Coast did, indeed, have an earthquake. I can only imagine being in a big one. That little tremor scared the heck out of me, really got the adrenaline going. Glad you're okay. |

I guess that was better than the 9.2 that hit Anchorage Alaska back in 1964 and almost destroyed the city.
