Why have the UM episodes which actually deal with "Unsolved Mysteries"--Like the Sharon Marshall case, the Angela Hammond case--basically the cases of kidnappings, murders, disappearances etc which remain unsolved--never been released on DVD? These, IMO, are the most relevant episodes since they still haven't been solved, they also tend to be the scariest and creepiest (as many of them came before UM changed it's music and format), which was one of the show's biggest draws. I'll never understand why all of the lesser episodes about hokey subjects--the ghost shows etc--are available on DVD but the shows about the actual, still Unsolved Mysteries aren't.

Good question, but the question I have is why you're using the same screen name as me.

Sorry. It's just a name that came to me, I didn't realize we share a name, also '90's my birth year hence the name.

Bahaha, that's my birth year as well
I can understand why it was decided to release the show by category, but it is a bummer. I remember watching original airings and loving the mix and mesh of all the different types of stories. |

If not on DVD, then why not Amazon or iTunes?

I've often asked myself the same question. Interestingly enough some of the other DVD sets came with updates so that is a possibility too. Like themainblack said it must be money or time that is a hold up.
It is very rewarding to see a lot of the cold cases solved and likely more to come! |
