Hello! Would anyone happen to know the artist of or the name of the painting that hangs in the kitchen set? It looks like a bowl of oranges. I found a picture of it, but can't post the link since I'm a new member. The picture is at mirror80.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Golden-Girls-kitchen-1.jpg

No idea... it was probably something local that was found, brought to the studio and used for the show.

Unfortunately, TGG aired in the days before the internet was so wide-spread. There wasn't a website for the show that offered decorations and design information from the set.

They did have nice decorations! I especially liked the calendar that hung on the kitchen door!! If you looked really closely, you would notice that most of the time the 1st of the month fell on a Sunday!!

In one of the episodes Dorothy or one of them answers the phone and talks to someone and there is a better shot of the picture looking straight at it. I don't recall which season or episode.
