I was flicking channels and this football player was being quizzed on TV shows and when they got on the topic of saved by the bell he asked the guy what did the AC stand for

And I was like.........."I don't ever remember hearing what it stood for on the show since I always heard AC slater

But it was Albert Clifford???

I never ever remember hearing that in all the years I watched SBTB LOL

I think they said it at least once in the series. Maybe even more. It might have been the episode where Slater's dad wants him to go to military school and Zack goes on the interview in his place as Slater. I think I remember his dad, a Major, calling him by his full name.

I would've gone by AC if I were him too!!!

I would have rather been called "Al" short for Albert Clifford.

AL doesn't sound bad lol

Most guys with names like Alan, Albert, or Alvin is going to be called AL anyway.

No one is every going to call them by their full name unless he is at work

Yeah- it was "The Love Machine" episode where AC Slater's full name is revealed as "Albert Clifford"- even the rest of the gang didn't know this.
Of course, Slater also jokes in the "Fake IDs" episode that AC stands for "absolutely charming".
Great Saved By the Bell trivia question.
