Default Lisa article in "People" - 12/12

http://www.people.com/people/mobile/...651783,00.html

Not too much new detail, but great to read she is doing well, and she and ex-husband Steve are still very friendly.

It's in the same issue with Larry Hagman on the cover.

I bought that yesterday. I don't really follow Sheeple magazine, but I was looking forward to seeing her article. Wow, such a stretch when she was featured in the '98 'Facts Of Wife' article almost fifteen years ago. I really enjoyed hearing how she's doing, and I understand how she's rather quiet about what happened in their relationship. Her kids are looking well, I remember them when they were just kids on the Family Dream trip eleven years ago, Tucker now has some seriously long hair!!!

Nice to know her relationship with Steve is on an amicable business level.

I'm not sure if I'd want to broadcast "rumors" and such as they reported in the magazine, though.....

Thanks for posting that what a great article. I'm also happy to see Lisa doesn't want to air out her divorce for everyone to know, I mean it's really none of our business and like she says it's between her, her family and God as it should be . Also it would be great to see Lisa back on TV like she said in a family show (sitcom) and her daughter Clancy said in the online people article she wouldn't mind acting and being on a show with her mom. Maybe they could get a mother daughter show started on TV Land or ABC Family wouldn't that be awesome. I just pray for all the best in Lisa's future.

I saw online her interview on The Jeff Probst Show--wow, she seems really different from the Lisa she was after Facts died. She had basically admitted that she was never in love with Steve.

She was never really in love with him?? Wow. I think I missed that part. Or was there more to the interview than when she said she shut off her heart? I'd better watch that again. Anyone have a link of that?

I have had that idea as well, though, that there was something not quite right in her relationship. It seemed as much as she liked him and all that way back when, she seemed to marry him for everyone else's benefit than her own. She felt rushed, not totally sure of everything. I'm curious to know more of the dynamics of this relationship, but then again, she's not saying too much.

Really great interview, Lisa is such a strong person, I admire her greatly. As for the divorce, empty nest syndrome perhaps? Besides, judging from what she said and her books, it was never that passionate a love. Being a Scorpio I don't think I could go for that. And now she's open to acting again! Awesome news for all of us! Just hope she chooses a really good show, there is very little on TV now that's worthwhile. PLL is a exception.

I know, judge not and ye wont' be... Sigh, she's awesome.

Well i m not a Scorpio but i m definitely up for passion too..... I m kind of surprised to hear about LISA WHELCHEL marrying without passionate love & a little saddened too: i mean she was with the man for over 20 years right? had kids but i guess it s a classic situation + it s not the 1st time cases like this happen. I just wonder what made her marry this guy & if she was maybe in love with somebody else instead? (boy this is sounding like a "soap opera" now lol!)

She did say on the Probst show that one main reason she did marry Steve was that God kept showing her signs like she said in her Facts book when she was coming back from talking to a friend about marrying Steve on the plane she wrote out a pro and con list and she had two full pages front and back of pros and a not even a half a page of cons and then on the Porbst show she said that she found her self and Steve at a jewelry store and Lisa had once drawn out a picture of what she would want her wedding ring to look like and at that store they had the exact ring she drawn so she thought all this stuff was god telling her she was suposed to marry Steve. So she married Steve cause she listend to God with her mind and not with her heart but she said now with all this new knowledge when she starts dating again she is going to pick a guy not just by listening to go with her mind but by listening to God with her heart cause she wants romance. But I'm glad to hear that she is still good friends with Steve and has no regrets marrying him cause if she didn't marry him she wouldn't have the 3 kids she has now who she loves more then her own life and who are her best friends.
