Talking Dark Shadows

I recently started watching the soap opera "Dark Shadows"..and I have to say, the show is 1000% better then most soap operas! Right now it's right after Doctor Woodard was killed by a lethal injection by Julia & Barnabas..I feel sorry for Vickie since her fiance's plane crashed

Catch it on SCI FI at 10 and 10:30 AM EST

I remember Barnabas Collins being a very scary character back when I used to watch the show. I wonder if people still have the same perception of him.

In any case I encourage anyone who has never seen this show to tune in.

LOL well so far I've seen over one hundred episodes, and I've recorded #341-#418, #420-#448. Here's some remarks on the acting seen since #341:

Alexandra Moltke: I LUV her as Victoria Winters. I feel so sorry for Victoria in 1795. And she's pretty too lol.

Jonathan Frid: He is great as Barnabas. He is a very sympathetic chracter at times.

Lara Parker: Oh I Luved her as Angelique! She makes me hate angeique yet feel sorry for her at the same time! Definatly great acting.

Kathryn Leigh Scott: So far I've seen her as Maggie and Josette. Both roles are sweet and innocent and she fits them well. One of the better actresses on the show.

Nancy Barrett: She is a VERY versitile actress. Before 1795 she was playing the cool and calm Carolyn Stoddard, now she's close to mental insanity as Millicent.

Grayson Hall: Very good acting. Love her as Julia and Countess Natalie duPRes.

Roger Davis: Eww. He shouts at his co-stars a lot lol and he seems to be rough with them especially with his bunny honey on the show (not in real life) A. Moltke.

Joel Crothers: He is versitile too. He's played Joe Haskell, the sort of dull all american type. Now he is after Millicent's money as Nathan Forbes.

Anthony George: I saw him as Burke (RIP) and Jeremiah (RIP 2) He was good.

Thayer David: VERY versitile. I know he'll end up playing a professor (T. Elliot Stokes) after his role as the humble Ben Stokes.

Louis Edmonds: I love him as Joshua Collins, daddio of Barnabas. He is kind yet stern.

Joan Bennet: I love her on the show. She is very good. She was good in "House of Dark Shadows" too.

Clarice Blackburn: I've mostly seen her as the religious Abigail. One word for Abigail: WACKO! LOL

Jerry Lacy: He went from lawyer Tony Peterson to reverand Trask. I luved him in both roles, sorta hard to imagine a 'reverand' going out with Carolyn aka Nancy Barrett.

David Henesy: I luved him as David and Daniel Collins. He is a very good child actors, very good with conveying emotions.

David Ford: He was good as Andre duPres and Sam Evans. Kinda hard to imagine that he was married to Nancy Barrett for two years!

Alexandra Moltke: I LUV her as Victoria Winters. I feel so sorry for Victoria in 1795. And she's pretty too lol. - I felt bad that they didn't give her much to do. Seeing her being blamed as the witch is sad.

Jonathan Frid: He is great as Barnabas. He is a very sympathetic chracter at times. - When Barnabus came on the scene Dark Shadows really took off!

Lara Parker: Oh I Luved her as Angelique! She makes me hate angeique yet feel sorry for her at the same time! Definately great acting. - She is one of my favorites. She was so beautiful as Angelique. Very, Very Believable.

Kathryn Lee Scott I loved when she played Josette. She was sooooo good on Dark Shadows.

Nancy Barrett: - She was such a great actress. Too bad she dissappeared after Dark Shadows. I know nothing of Nancy Barrett.

Grayson Hall: Her husband wrote a great deal of the show. She was so good on Dark Shadows.

Roger Davis: He sure does shout doesn't he? LOL........ I tried to take a photo of him in person and he turned his face. I felt bad because I was such a fan. I got my feelings hurt. He use to be married to Jaclyn Smith.

Joel Crothers: I thought he was so handsome when I first saw DS. Too bad he passed away at an early age.

Anthony George: I saw him as Burke (RIP) and Jeremiah (RIP 2) He was good.

Thayer David: VERY versitile. I know he'll end up playing a professor (T. Elliot Stokes) after his role as the humble Ben Stokes. - He was a good actor but, I was kind of scared of him.............

Louis Edmonds: I love him as Joshua Collins, daddio of Barnabas. He is kind yet stern. - This is one of the most sweetest men I ever have met. He is so gracious (in person). and kind. I really love him.

Joan Bennet: I love her on the show. She is very good. She was good in "House of Dark Shadows" too. - She was fantastic as the matriarch but, I use to laugh at her forgetfuness of her lines.

Clarice Blackburn: I've mostly seen her as the religious Abigail. One word for Abigail: WACKO! LOL - She was perfect in her role as the snoop.

Jerry Lacy: He went from lawyer Tony Peterson to reverand Trask. I luved him in both roles, sorta hard to imagine a 'reverand' going out with Carolyn aka Nancy Barrett. - AHHH.... The Reverend Trask. I remember him well. Great acting as the Reverend.

David Henesy: I luved him as David and Daniel Collins. He is a very good child actors, very good with conveying emotions. - I miss seeing David - I use to like him as a young girl. Whatever became of him?

David Ford: He was good as Andre duPres and Sam Evans. Kinda hard to imagine that he was married to Nancy Barrett for two years!
Is this true? I never heard this?

I wish I could see David Henessy. Just to see the man that he's become.
