Default who is your favorite Wheel of Fortune Hostess: Vanna or Susan?

vote and comment

BTW, even though Susan Stafford is ok I have to say Vanna White
cause I grew up in '85 and Ms. White was the only "WOF" hostess I grew
up with at the time and I still think she is awesome.

I guess that also goes with rolf and vanna and/or bob and vanna as well huh? (LOL!)

but back to the pat/vanna deal is it because they were annoying, overrated or just doesn't give you that warm and homly feeling that chuck/susan had in the early 70's on NBC daytime or something?

sajak is way overrated as a host and vannamainia became really tiresome in the 80s

Personally, I like Vanna White as she makes the show about the contestants

Susan Stafford is in a class all by itself, but I like Vanna better, but I give both of them thumbs up for keeping the show going and not having big ego's

well i like both Pat & Vanna myself. but i do agree with the whole "Vannamania" thing even though it died down since the late 80s people still talk about how lovely her gowns/dresses are.

I like Vanna as well and like i said before she is awesome and without her and Pat it just wouldn't be the same and i agree as well with both vanna
& Susan not having ego at all same goes with chuck, pat, rolf,& bob.

but for susan in 1982 as you can see in her last NBC daytime episode she does really miss working with chuck.

and dare I say this to you tnawcwvictoriafan, the cast and staff members who work at Wheel of Fortune in Culver City, California are way much more of a close-knit Family than the Cast (Minus Carey) & Staff members who work at The Price Is Right at Studio 33 (a.k.a The Bob Barker Studios).

I know and I still refer to The Bob Barker Studios as CBS Television City in Hollywood, but also, it was great to see Susan fill in for Vanna during Teen Week on Wheel back in 1986 and she still has skills

The 1 thing I give NBC and Merv Griffin credit for was keeping the doors open for Susan to comeback to Wheel though

and I did feel for Susan, but I can understand her moving on from Wheel

maybe the reason why she left Wheel in '82 is because Susan Stafford looks up to Chuck Woolery as the "Pat Sajak" in her life. like Vanna White looks up to Pat Sajak as the...and again dare I say "Chuck Woolery" in her life.

basically what i'm saying here is that Susan enjoyed working with Chuck W. on Wheel like Vanna enjoys working with Pat S. but since "Woolery left Wheel" in 81' due to a Salary despute with the late Merv Griffin (R.I.P). her life just feels kinda empty without Chuck to share it with.

also the reason why Susan came back in '86 for Teen Week is because Vanna's former boyfriend and husband named John Gibson died in a plane crash and she had to mourn for his death.

also the reason why I Said that the cast and staff memebers working at WOF
at Culver City, California are much more of a close-knit family then the cast (Minus Carey) and staff who work at TPIR in Studio 33 (a.k.a The Bob Barker Studios) is because you hear about former models (Past and Present)
who had worked on the show sue the show a lot of times even if you see it on an entertainment magazine show on TV or see a blurb about it on the Interment the cycle will never stop . again i'm not a TPIR freak but I think that the former models have more of an Ego Trip way more the Barker had.
