Default Has this happened on another sitcom besides Maude and Good Times?

Both were CBS shows and a character was watching another CBS show that was current at the time

Maude was watching the CBS show "Tony Orlando and Dawn"

Willona was watching the CBS show "The Waltons"

Did this happen with any other shows?

I remember someone watching The Beverly Hillbillies, on Green Acres.

Yes, I'm sure this is a fairly common happenstance.

I know on ER this happened a few times; I can think of once when Doug Ross was watching Days of Our Lives.

On Modern Family once, Claire and Haylee were watching soap operas and they showed a clip that was from ABC's "All My Children".

On CBS's "The Nanny" they had an episode where Fran watched "The Young & The Restless" (a CBS show) and visited the set when her friend Heather Biblow got a role on the show.

Recently on ABC's "General Hospital", the character of Todd was watching ABC's "The Chew" or "The Revolution" (I can't recall) and commented on how stupid the show was; referencing the fact that they replaced two soap operas; including "One Life to Live" which that character originated on.

In the 1964 Twilight Zone episode "Black Leather Jackets" the family is watching an episode of To Tell the Truth which was a CBS program at that time.

on iCarly and Victorious they have had characters watching Drake and Josh (and for Victorious within the same or next episode they had a character from Drake and Josh cross over onto their show)

It was not on the same network, but I seem to remember a plug for ABC when on an episode of The Munsters- Herman wanted Grandpa to turn the TV off and Granpa mentioned that he was watching a show about a family wih wacky characters and then the theme song for My three sons is heard.
