Why do so many hobbyist TV series have the shows out of show order? |

I guess what you need to clarify is what you mean by show order. A TV show will be in airdate order or production order. TV channels will still air shows on both orders. The Golden Girls for example on Lifetime aired in production order while on WE and Hallmark it is aired in airdate order. I don't quite understand the logic of airdate order versus production order. Why let a network determine the order of episodes? The networks should be allowed to trump what the producers had in mind? Just look at Season 1 of 227 and tell me you should watch it in airdate order!
