Default Black Friday?

I have never shopped on Black Friday. I'm not that desperate! I shop online.

Think about this!

Black Friday is when the psychos come out.

Only Black Friday I do is the record store Black Friday. Less fruitcakes and more music fanatics.

I just heard on the radio that last year WM opened its doors at 10pm, Thanksgiving night, for shoppers. Now this year, they are opening at 8pm. Geez, why don't they just stay open all of Thanksgiving Day???

BTW, I have never shopped on BF and I never will. I don't understand how anybody would want to go through that stress just to save a few bucks.

I've shopped on Black Friday over at Costco for the past few years. That's how I get all of the sweet deals for the more expensive items.

I bought my new HP computer w/ 20 inch HD monitor and a few years prior to that I got my 48 inch HD flatscreen TV all from Black Friday. I also go crazy over movie/tv show deals.

I'm not the person who camps outside of the stores for weeks though.

Ugh! There are a lot of Black Friday shoppers with the mind set in your picture. I used to skip Black Friday UNTIL I finally figured out what's good to buy on that day & what isn't. Electronic items are out; I'm not willing to wait 10 hrs in the cold to save $50 or even $200 for that matter.

But Black Friday can be GREAT for smaller stuff. Like getting a 75 pack of DVDs for $10 at Radio Shack. 20% off everything at Bed, Bath and Beyond. 99 cent videos at Best Buy to use as stocking stuffers. Etc. For these kinds of items Black Friday is great.

As a former retail employee, you can't pay me to go near a store or a mall on Black Friday. I do have to work that day, but at my office and with most of my coworkers gone. Ahhhh, peace...

Looks like I'll be sitting this one out. I used to get in line for the Snowglobe JC Penney would give away, but their is no mention of it in this year's flyer. Nothing in any of the flyers interest me, so I'll just sleep in.

I used to shop on Black Friday, but after seeing two men get in a fist fight over a tv, I decided it just wasn't worth the risk. Also I'll have to work breakfast shift that day & since we're located fairly close to the mall, we'll do a lot of business. Many of the men drop their wives off at the mall & then come over for breakfast. But for those who do shop on Black Friday, hope you get some great deals.

I think Black Friday can be a good thing. The problem is that it only takes a few people to ruin everything. If you have order and everyone is calm, the only problem you have is the long lines. That fault should be on the people. I'm sure there are a lot of nice people out there but again some people have to ruin it for everybody else.

To me, too bad you couldnt have people go to the stores based on how much you make. Do you think its fair for someone making 100,000 a year to stand in line for Black Friday? Dont you think someone who is making 20K a year or struggling to make ends meat deserve to be first?
