Naomi Oates Harper, had to deal with her mother-in-law, Mama (Thelma) Harper, on Mama's Family.

The same mother-in-law (Mama) was a thorn in the side of Ed Higgins, Eunice's husband on "The Family" skits of The Carol Burnett Show, and the first season of Mama's Family.
