Warner Archive poll - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

With the invention of the Warner Archive and the good news that a previously released title will get another season released on Tuesday, which WB title do you want most? Feel free to explain below.

This is indeed a tough task to only choose one but since I can only pick one it'd be Mama's Family....I have a fondess in my heart for mama!

Now, if only WB would pop out Step By Step!!

George Lopez season 3 because it's the only one I'd actually buy. I've seen Murphy Brown and What I Like About You but they aren't shows I'd buy on DVD.

Eight Is Enough! We need to get that series going again - it's a staple from the 70s/80s!

Agreed. I would put it up there with The Brady Bunch. I would purchase all five seasons.

Also, I would like to see them continue with Knots Landing (season 3 onwards)! I have the series recorded from Soapnet when they ran it, but the quality is not the same.

It was a toss up for me between Knots Landing S3 and Eight is Enough S2. I'd love to see both of those get released but if I have to pick only one it would be Knots Landing. I was such a big fan of it and I hardly ever missed an episode. I have most of the episodes recorded off the Soap channel but the picture quality wasn't always that great.

Out of the shows listed I'd say Murphy Brown is the one I'd want the most. 2nd I guess maybe the drew carey show.

I want Mama's Family and Eight Is Enough, more than anything, however, only if they can acquire the original network episodes. They need to re-release the first season of Mama, and release Season 2 with the NBC run episodes. Better yet, release these 2 seasons together.

With EiE, they need to re-release season one, with the original ABC runs, and return the correct closing credits to each episode. Then follow up with the next 4 seasons.

If they can't do this, they shouldn't bother with these shows.

Don't really like any of those shows that much but if I had to pick I pick Perfect Strangers.

Well, it looks as though none of the titles in the poll were released on Tuesday. Instead, Night Court season 7 was released. This is fine but it was expected sooner or later. I was hoping for a big surprise. Maybe next Tuesday.

To me, the best news all week is Shout! Getting the rights from WB to release seasons 2-5 of MADtv!! I love me some Ms. Swan!!
