The Midnight Special was a staple in our home every Friday night. Good selections, Riley but I hate to say that I can't stand "Your Mama Don't Dance."

The greatest episode had to be Thanksgiving Weekend episode in 1978!!! With TED NUGENT, AC/DC, CHEAP TRICK, AND THIN LIZZIE!!!!!

I'll get flak for this one since it's a disco song, but it's a rarity you have two Black women playing bass and guitar and their live versions were always better than the studio one:

And here's my favorite Andy Gibb song. Watch for the off-key note the organist plays during his solo at the end:

I really don't have a favorite episode. I broke down and ordered the DVD's from the tv infomercial. I haven't regretted it! I love Midnight Special! I guess I like the episodes the best which had Peter Frampton , Fleetwood Mac , and The Doobie Brothers. Oh! So many great episodes! I can't name a favorite!

I forgot that... I must be confused with "In Concert" which was in the early 90's.

Mainly because it has Gary Mallaber, Steve Miller's drummer from the "Fly Like an Eagle" and Eddie Money's "Two Tickets to Paradise" era.
